A feature of the Quik Flow Server allows for two servers to be linked to one another in a development-production relationship. The development server contains working, or development, copies of processes and process data. This server is used to test processes from the points of view of different process participants. Once the process has been debugged and works to the designer’s satisfaction, the process is deployed to the production server where it operates with real data.

When editing a process on a development server, the designer is working on a copy of the process. When process development is complete, the new process is deployed to the production server and removed from the development server. Once on the production server, the process is available for immediate use.

If a process owner decides to undo any changes made to a process, he or she would revert the process back to the original production version, if one exists.
